Non-profit organisations, established for charitable or research purposes, are frequently under pressure to minimise spending on “non-core” activities, including property. However, they must still provide an environment that enables their staff and volunteers to work effectively.
AMA has worked with some of the largest non-profit organisations to help them understand how they work and how they can use space more effectively. We won a global competition to provide workplace consultancy services to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We looked at the organisation’s current working practices and made recommendations for the new space.
AMA has also worked with WWF to help clarify its strategic accommodation requirements and choose an appropriate site for its new headquarters. We reviewed the use of the existing building and developed alternative scenarios.
